Effect of carbonates/phosphates as nucleophilic catalysts in dimethylformamide for efficient cyanosilylation of aldehydes and ketones.
Cyanosilylation of aldehydes and aliphatic ketones can be carried out in dimethylformamide even without the use of any catalyst. In the presence of nucleophilic catalysts such as carbonate and phosphate salts, the reaction rate is significantly enhanced.

متن کاملCalcium Phosphates as Delivery Systems for Bisphosphonates
Bisphosphonates (BPs) are the most utilized drugs for the treatment of osteoporosis, and are usefully employed also for other pathologies characterized by abnormally high bone resorption, including bone metastases. Due to the great affinity of these drugs for calcium ions, calcium phosphates are ideal delivery systems for local administration of BPs to bone, which is aimed to avoid/limit the un...
متن کاملHexose Phosphates and Alcoholic Fermentation
The participation of phosphoric acid in alcoholic fermentation and in the biological utilization of carbohydrates in general, is one of the most important discoveries made in connection with the study of these systems. Numerous attempts have been made to correlate this discovery with the many observations regarding the carbohydrate-phosphates which are formed in such biologic processes, but opi...
